62Indian Premier League will have a new IPL Team called Kochi IPL Team from 2011 IPL cricket matches.
Kerala is surely lucky to get an IPL Team as lot of Keralites are hard fans of Indian cricket.
And there are chances for lot of players from Kerala to shine in Indian cricket team in the future.
Granting of permission for formation of IPL team for Kochi (Kochi Cricket Private Limited) by the Board of Cricket Control of India is a great chance for players from Kerala to exhibit their playing skills to the world.
Earlier their were many issues regarding the new IPL team for Kochi. There were also many news coming out that the dream of Kochi IPL team would not be fulfilled ever. In November BCCI has given a termination notice to Kochi Cricket Private Limited.
Now all the clouds have cleared making the entry of IPL Cochi Team to 4th part of IPL Twenty Twenty matches possible.
S Sreesanth from Kochi , have told of his dream to play for his home team in Indian Premier League.
The Kochi IPL team members will be known only after the auction for selection of players is completed.
