India Medals Won Asian Games 2010

From the 16th Asiad Games 2010 at Guangzhou , India earned 14 Gold medals , 17 Silver medals and 33 Bronze medals. India was in the Sixth place in the Asian games.

India lost many medals which they could have grabbed like in Tripple jump , Racing and Relay.

India's performance in the Preliminary football matches in Asian Games were very disappointing. But , they managed to win a Bronze medal in the end in Football.

India is sending 609 athletes to Guangzhou to bag gold medals at the 16th Asian Games.

This Asiad has been the talk of everyone when India made an amazing journey to the 2nd place in medals tally of 2010 Commonwealth Games at Delhi.

On Nov 12th Indian athletes lead by Gagan Narang , marched into Guangzhou during Opening ceremony with medal hopes. (Asian Games Medal Tally)

In the 2010 Asiad India is hoping to win gold medals from renowned athletes like Abhinav Bindra , Gagan Narang, Mayengbam Suranjoy Singh , Somdev Devvarman, Deepika Kumari , Krishna Poonia.

360 male and 249 female athletes are representing India at the Asiad in China.

First Gold medal in the 2010 Asian Games for India was won by Pankaj Advani in the Men's English Billiards Singles event.
