Football Medal Winners Results Asian Games 2010

Football games in the Asian Games 2010 will be conducted at Guangzhou in China from November 7th.

Even though the Official opening ceremony of 2010 Asian Games is scheduled on the 12th November , the preliminary Football events will start before that.

Men's football matches will be held from 8th to 11th November.

And the women's football matches will be conducted from 14th to 18th November.

• Men's 1/8 Final - Oman Vs Hongkong - Oman made 3 goals and won the match while Hong kong could not make any goals.

• Men's 1/8 Final - China Vs Republic of Korea (South Korea) - Republic of Korea made 3 goals and won the match while China tasted a very bad failure with 0 goals.

• Men's 1/8 Final - Qatar Vs Uzbekistan - This match ended with 0 goals in 2 halfs. So it was decided to give Extra Time and the scores after AET (After Extra Time) is Qatar 0 - Uzbekistan 1. Uzbekistan made 1 goals and won the match while Qatar could not make any goals.

November 14 th

• Women's match South Korea VS Vietnam - South Korea made 6 goals against Vietnam and won the football match.

• India vs Kuwait Match Disappointingly for the Indian football fans , India lost the first match against Kuwait. India scored no goals , while Kuwait won the match with 2 goals.

Kuwait's player Khaled Al Azemi scored the two goals.

It is a great shame for Indian football team , that they could not even give a good performance in the starting match itself.

Goalkeeper of Singapore Izwan Mahbud defended most of the advances of Qatar football players. Singapore was not able to get any goals and led the football match to a Tie between Qatar and Singapore.
