Central Government Employees Salary Revision eill be the talk of the entire India in coming days.
In this hub we will be discussing about the necessity of a 7th Pay Commission for revising the basic salaries and allowances of Central Government Employees.
In 1956 the 1st Pay Commission was formed. For State Government employees the salary revision is done in 3 or 5 years.
Last Central Pay Commission report was published in the year 2008.
The 6th Central Pay Commission report was given by by Justice BN Srikrishna to the Finance Minister P Chidambaram.
Usually the Central Pay Commisssion is formed only in every 10 years. But , with the coming of the year 2011 , India is in a situation where prices of most of the products needed in day to day life is increasing. Petrol, Gas, Grocery, Provisions, Food prices have gone up sky high.
Government employees under the Central Government has started protests demanding hike in salary.
Recently in Kerala 9th Pay Revision Report was given for revision of pay scales of the Government employees.
But , most of the government employees of Kerala were demanding salary revision that is equal to the Central Government Pay scales.
Main Requirements Demanded from Seventh Pay Commission Report
Even though the time for the next Pay Revision Commission has not reached , the Central government employees have decided to ask for a 7th Central pay Commission to be formed.
The main requirements that will be requested by the Indian Employee Unions from the 7th Central Pay Commission Report will be as follows,
Salary scales of employees in same posts in all departments should be fixed equally.
Current systems for Job Promotions and Salary increments should be changed to a better one.
Employees who work harder and has great performance track records in service should be paid better salary scales and given promotions , without leaving all promotions based on seniority only.
Appropriate changes should be made to allowances like HRA, TA, CCA .etc.
Transport and Traveling allowances should be renewed based on the current prices of petrol and diesel.

It is necessary seventh pay commission because psu and others get pay hike after 5 years why 10 years for us are they living in different India we have to pay money to anything which is same paid by psu employee it is to be viewed seriouly
I am agree with d demand of seventh pay comision. Because looking price hike in everything .it seems impossible 4 an employee to buy a house.which is need of every person.

Sir, My current basic is 21600(15600(Basic) + 6000(AGP)). tentive gross is 38000.
I would like to know if 7th pay commision applied to all the govt. employee let us say from may 2016 let me know the my new basic & gross tentatively if possible.
I agree with this because private sectors get salary hike in each year minimum 3-4 thousand and packages by 1-2 lac so why not govt employee, unless and until you hike govt emp salary as per other sectors , corruption will not decrease. Govt employee is not satisfy with the salary which he/she is getting by 6th pay. look at the prises for common needs. gas petrol, water electricity, house rent or price . THINK ABOUT IT.
pay commission set up every 5 year for revision of pay, because 10 year is too long time, the economic condition has change in every 5 year
after 2004 the central govt employees didn't get pension.Also now we are getting very low salary.Then how can live with govt job?
WHAT IS THE SALARY OF PRIMARY TEACHER IN 7TH PAY COMMISSION
The ratio of increased salary in 6th pay commission IN COMPARISION TO 5TH PAY COMMISSION is less.for example the scale of 1400-2300 was converetd to Rs.5000-8000 i.e.morethan 3.5 times, similarly the scale of RS 2000 was in converted into Rs.6500 i.e.3.25 times.you can see all the scales are increased by 3.25 to more thn 3.5 times.after that 50% DA also had been merged in the basic.But in 6th pay commssion only 2.5 times scale have been incresed & also there is no any provision of mergeing the 50% DA in the basic why.However It is seen that 25% of some of the allownces not all are increased.But my question is that if considdering increased in salary inpercetage or in ratio then ou can see that the salary has not been increased like increased at the time of 5th pay commission.in addition to this the rate of mahengai is too much high.so i request to all union for demanding mergeing of 50% DA in the basic which is very logical as explained above.
Government has never constituted pay commissions in time in the past and reports usually come after two years of its schedule time. Government never constitute pay commission in time. It is always done after the protests. In India, one can not get its due without hue and cry. It seems really a wild imagination to think that Central Govt. Employees will demand 7th pay commission in 2011. University teachers in different states have not yet got 5th Pay commission. Can you imagine teaching & non-teaching staff of Birsa Agriculture University did not get monthly salaries for last 7 months.
Its not necessary to revise the pay scale. We should think about the people those who are in lower position & even having no position in govt service. I am talking excluding the poor people of India. Once 7th pay commission will implemented, the price of everything will increase, but not earning of those people will not increase. Now there in problem, later also they will be in problem & poor people will in more problem. Instead of searching the cause of problem, we are searching how to control the problem. This process is not permanent. After few years we will try for 8th pay commission for the solution of our same problem. In this system it will be the benefit of higher level servant, not the lower level & even the poor people. We should realize that due to the increment of pay commission only the most of the national product price is increasing by the retailer/manufacturer saying that, 'now the salary has increased, so why we will not rise the price'. But they are not thinking about poor people those who are affected badly due to this faulty policy of Govt of India. We all should live for each other, not for self.
It is desperately required to revise the 7th pay commission in the year 2011, at least the govt. servant retiring in near future will be benifitted, as they did not get salary satisfaction nor other benifits which are getting in the 6th pay commission.
Seventh pay commission is necessary in the year 2011 because government servant retiring in the year 2016 will be getting benefits.Most of the senior ladies did not get the CCL etc. which now Female staff is getting without any hassel, that time it was so difficult to sanction the leave from the senior officers, also now junior staff is getting all the benefits.
7th pay commission will be very needful for the govt employees As the price of common comodities goes high everyday

Hopefully 7th pay commission will be benifitted to the employees retiring near future as they will be awarded by getting nice salary at least few years which they could not enjoy earlier.

Pay commissions should set up with 5 years plan, because the prices are running high not yearly but daily. Government should think on it.

in 5thpay commission there was hike 3.25 % to 3.5 % in basic like basic 1400 goes to rs 5000 i.e 3.5 times, basic 2000 goes to rs.6500 i.e.3.25 times but in 6th pay commission basic increase only 2.5% why, in addition to this 50% DA also was merged in basic pay but in 6th pay commission there is no any such type provision why,most of people saying that the payment of central gov. employee has increased too much i am just asking them can you purchase even a small house this time no house is below the rate of 15 lakh any where food product are also too much costly elctric charges also costly petrol costly i mean to say most of necessary products are too much costly. in govt public sector you will find the payment is too much high than the central govt employee.the allowances and bonuses also are too much high , medical facility also good own hospitals also have the good facility and employee can take the treatment any where at private good hospital and without any problem they are getting the full reimbursment.but this facility is not available in the central govt specially in railway. there is no any accomodation facility for the railway employee if they deputed on duty the condition of govt guest houses are very bad also they found always in full condition due to shortage of guest houses where as in the public sector employee is getting very good amount for the accomodation and food.in public sector employee are getting the ltc for air lines but there is no such facility for the railway employee why.i can say loudly that the work load on the railway employee is too much high from very high level to lower level than all other any public sector.i alos think why officer category are not demanding equal to public sector officer are having power but not having the good payment this is the main reason of the curruption i also can say loudly there is no any service in all over world like to indian railway.only the indians are capable to work such a unfacilitate working condition. this is the only railway department where the very high level senior class one officer (DRM) IS GETTING LESS PAYMENT than the class 3 employee then how you can expect the 100% faithfull work from them.i request all the union and railway and finance ministry to think about it i am writing all this only which i felt by heart. finally i can say loudly if corruption will stop by this only such employee will get most happiness who are realy have the chance for getting the money other than the actual payments and slowly slowly the whole atmosphere will convert in happiness all the indian people will get all basic needs fulfill. at this time curruption is happened by any body are also living in too much tension all they peoples also will get happy if the system is such that there is no chance of curruption.presently all the indian people are in too much tense condition please correct the system and give the chanceto every body to live happily.thanks a lot

These may not be the comments on the above subject but an email request was submitted to the Min:of Finance to consider the matter regarding their deceision that Income Tax Officer having four year of regular service will get grade pay of Rs.5400 insead of 4800/- but it was not consiered for the pensioners having four year of regular service as on 31-3-2005 who do not exhist on roll on 1-4-2006 but their pension is appliable on 1-4-2006. Will the Govt review the decision ?

Why close the chapter of 7% D.A Slab and Seventh Pay Commission of India
As mentioned in seventh pay commission the promotions should be fast and without any deficiency which can be erased by further recruitments. The medical allowances, life insurances,self accommodation on welfare scheme should be covered in seventh pay commission.This is very essential and need now days.The Higher study allowances and marriage allowances should be provided to employees for their children and deducted from salary in easy instalments without any harrashment.Family life insurance should be covered in 7 th pay commission.For Higher study,study leave should be increased.
